Old tracks
Old tracks linked Sadus with its neighbours: the Abkain road, the main route to Al-Uyaynah, Darb Habudal in Shaib Al-Darb, and the track to Malham. Sadus was also a notable stop on an ancient overland road linking Al-Yamamah with Makkah.
A varied landscape
The country around Sadus mixes hills, plateaus, valleys and ravines, covered with talh and salam acacias and green areas, some permanent, some seasonal, which is what has long drawn walkers here.
