A varied land
The country around Sadus mixes hills, plateaus, valleys and ravines, covered with talh and salam acacias and green areas, some permanent, some seasonal.
Hills that guarded the town
The Tuwaiq escarpment to the west and the twin Abkain hills to the east gave the town natural protection. Today walkers climb them to see the village and its oasis from above.
A place for walkers
This landscape, together with the historic architecture, has made Sadus a place walkers seek out. Its community is proud of the initiatives it has launched to protect both its architectural and its natural heritage.
